Hey lady loves, happy to finally share this fun look with you, can't you tell by the big smile on my face! Seems like I was never going to get this post up. Monkey business aside, I've been getting down to business and have been very busy. Some of you know that in addition to my full-time styling duties (photo styling), I take care of a great deal of the affairs for my elderly parents' and it's been one thing after the other and it's still snowballing! Additionally some of my photo and motion styling clients have began to hire me to be their personal shopper/stylist as well. So I'm in the middle of handling wardrobe for television productions with all those deadlines along with editing closets and refreshing spring wardrobes whilst performing mommy dearest and daddy care duties! Oh and did I forget that I'm a wife and mom of two adult monkeys, LOL!!!
Okay getting down to business. This really is a fun look, because the monkey is so fun looking right?! He's a cutie on duty, in a quirky kind of way!. The first time I styled this tee for a post (here), it was fun in a hip and edgy kind of way. I funkified it a bit in true SybilStreetSTYLe by wearing window pane fish nets, with my faux leather, metallic pencil skirt and some edgy jewelry. This time, however, I wanted it to be more lighthearted. And rightfully so! Everytime I see this tee, I think about the monkey character curious George from my childhood, who was really funny! I remixed and brightened things up with pink gingham to layer underneath, white jeans and pink makeup to add to the "fun" vibe. The pinks I used this go-round was more saturated than before. This time I wore grey kicks to play on the grey base of the tee and threw on a jeweled necklace that contained the colors of this fun story, scrunched my sleeves and popped my collar! Let me know what you think! Some times #SybilStreetSTYLe is giggly fun style!
