A couple nights ago, I had the pleasure of attending such a great event that benefits such a worthy cause. Fab blogger Dani Sauter of www.blondeinthedistrict.com put together this awesome night to help The Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Organization held at the Eloquii pop-up store here in Pentagon City Mall. Because of their continued efforts, each year this organization saves the lives of more than 2,600 dogs and cats every year. With everyone's support they can continue to do so. I encourage you to visit their site and lend your support whether by donating time to volunteer or financial help. I also found out that they do same day adoptions, which I think is absolutely amazing!
Plus-size fashion retailer, Eloquii was very generous in partnering with Dani to host this wonderful night to support our fur babies! They have some fab accessories and really cool on-trend plus size fashions. I picked up a pair of super cool sunnies (shown below) and some great earrings. And dare I forget the shoes, I'm actually going back to pick up a pair of those pearl slide that were dope! Also on board to make this night so magical was FromNothing2Something (fn2sartistry.com), founder and makeup artist Bianca, there with her team doing face bling rhinestone applications on all guests. Check out mine below, I was loving the bling, bling! Guests also received complimentary braids by the immensely talented hair team of Illusions of Georgetown. We were also treated to some delicious dog & cat themed treats by Sweet Earlines, so decadent and wonderfully presented! Lastly to set off the decor were florals by Rituska Inc.
I have to close by saying thank you to my baby girl #ModelOffDuty Symone, for hanging with me to support. Although she had another engagement to attend shortly after, she came along to lend to the cause and provide camera girl services too. She loves animals, especially our Shih Tzu Catan, no matter how much we laugh about him being spoiled and entitled! Symone took these awesome shots of the event - I'm thinking she needs to add photographer to repertoire!
